Taking my castle nut off and it literally broke with the first bit of pressure. Since OpticsPlanet wants more words of warning for you, I had mounted it to my bench and it shattered at the base. very handy,hooks right up to tipton bench vise.must have for AR owners.makes cleaning ,scope mounting ,& adjustments on you AR a snap.you can mount it either way if you need gun to lock in & push mag release to unlock gun or spin it 180deg & just set gun down for a quick adjustment.great product

Works as advertised.
Although I don’t have the mag well vise I was able to mount it easily onto a short piece of angle iron that I can lock into my bench vise. It works very well. I like that I can change angles for different types of work required. I’ll be making good use of this piece of equipment!

Great Addition to Tipton Best Gun Vise
Originally I got this because I needed to use it to remove the ejector roll pin and this vise worked great in getting it out and installing it back in. It is sturdy and was a pleasure to use while building my lower receiver.

Great to have if you own the Tipton Gun Vice
This is a great add on item if you already own the Tipton gun vise which I already reviewed and loved it. I use this for mounting my AR lower if I need to work on it or if I am building one.
It locks the lower in place and you don't need to worry about it moving all over the place.
My only gripe and this might just be a me thing but i just hate needing to remove the other parts on my vice to get this on because it needs slide on in order for you to lock it in place.
