Overall it is fine for the price. Reminds me of a Harbor Freight special. All ready damaged after first use. I ended up buying more punches that are designed for roll pins. Wish I had more patience to wait and order the right tool which I did in the end.
professional tools
I like it a lot. Has a good professional heft to it. Great starter kit for those DIY AR owners like me.
I love the case that it came with too. The brass punches and steel punches looked great. I love the overall presentation of it. I wish there were more literature on how to use some of it or a little manual maybe for suggestions on how to use it which can be useful as well to other buyers of this product.

can't complain
Great punch set for the cost. Has everything needed, it's not cheap quality and does the job. Apparently you can't write a short n sweet review and I needed to type more. I would recommend this kit for sure.

Ok for the money
Some of the brass punches were not straight but a quick fix in my vice. Other than that a good set to keep on my bench. Every thing you need for most gun maintenance. Nice to have it in a organized box.

Nice set, but not very durable
I have mixed feelings on this set. I have a few of Wheelers Tools and normally I am pretty happy with their performance and maybe the hammer and punch set that I bought was a fluke. The set I purchased has not performed near to my expectations. The punches either bent or mushroomed, causing damage to a firearm that I was working on. The hammer is great and I still have it, but I have had to replace almost all of the punches in this set, which made me feel like I should have just paid a $100 for Pachmeyers Gunsmithing Kit. As I said, I have other items of Wheelers and I am very pleased with their performance, so like I said, maybe I bought bad apple.

Compact hammer and punch set
The Wheeler punch set works great for takedowns when deep cleaning your firearms or upgrading components on your firearms as well. Compact enough to fit in your range bag without taking up to much space

Brass punch set
I am always skeptical of low price tools. One brass punch was bent upon deliver. Kit works great for being a cheap general work kit. Received it quick which was appreciated. This kit was worth adding just for the fact that if all the tools break in a month I'll just buy a new one.

This product is well made in a very convenient plastic case - well worth the $$$ - should be part of every gun owners tool set. This product met my needs and the product was shipped quickly. I recommend this product to others with similar needs.

Punch Set worth every penny.
Had this set for less than 20 days and have already used it on two different projects. One was simply putting another hole in my belt (have to lose the weight before the heat of summer comes). The other was changing out the 17 year old trigger on my Armalite AR-15. In both cases the punches worked great and the hammer included in the set has one soft mallet type side and one hard side for those delicate jobs which need a little more kick, or punch. :D

Being that this hasn't showed up yet a review would not really be fair of the product. I guess a review of the shipping procedure would be more in order. I can tell you with other stuff I've got from OpticsPlanet I had no problems but so far this is taking forever to get

Wheelers Hammer and Punches Kit
Good overall value. Great to have all together at range. Hammer handle somewhat thin; could use some girth or molding for more directional control. Wouldn't hurt hammer to have a few more ounces added to head.
