It only turns on once out of every 20 or so attempts; usually it just beeps and/or flashes. Tried to contact Wheeler twice...no response in 2 weeks. Might have to return to OP, but it says right on the box "contact US, not vendor, if there's a problem...".
Also, very misleading about the lbs that it'll measure. 5-100 vs 15-100 depending on where you look, however seem to measure down to about 3 lbs and up to 100 or more(can't remember).

Pros:
- seems GREAT when it turns on
Cons:
- have to press on 20 times or so(usually) takes for ever to scroll to 50lbs(you have to start a 0/99 every time it turns on)
Best Used for:
- confirming and/or live measurements/break away max readings
