I have four of these knives, I returned one to a retailer, the others are ok. A couple of caveats - 1. Case is apparently not actively making their Trapperlock knives, I've no idea why. I asked their PR dept what's up and they gave me a non-answer. There's none in the supply channels, none in the retail market, and what is available on eBay, both new and used, is commanding ridiculous prices, upwards of $200.00 USD. The Whiskey Bent trapperlock is the only similar product on the market presently, and from absent information available on the Whiskey Bent website, even these are no longer in active production. So, if you want a trapperlock these are your only option. 2. The Whiskey Bent trapperlocks are NOT made in the USA, they are a Chinese product. 3. The dimensions are the same as Case. 4. The fit and finish is acceptable, with some exceptions. They arrived extremely dirty, grit in the channel and springs, and take some time to clean and work-in with oil. The blade does not sit centered in the channel, it's off to one side and consequently does not spring open easily until it's worked in, and even then there's a rub mark on the end of the blade. Given time, it will open properly. 5. The biggest concern, and the reason I returned one of these knives, is that the locking spring did not center on the blade, it only caught the outside lip of the blade.
