It's okay but has some flaws
I've used a couple other of Wicked Edge's products and loved them so I got in early on the kickstarter for this, and it's a neat concept, but the execution makes the sharpening process a bit frustrating. Would it work in a survival situation to keep a knife usably sharp, probably assuming the plastic slider didn't break. Would I ever take it into a hunting/camping situation for general knife use......nope. Not unless for some reason every ounce counted and I couldn't pack something with just a bit more weight/size that works much better.

Knife sharpener
When I got this knife sharpener, I was kind of skeptical, but the more I used it the better I liked it it puts a wicked edge on a doll knife
Best Used for:
- This knife sharpener is best used for folding pocket knives, but you can still sharpen a fixed blade knife, and it does really well

Razor sharp edge
The Wicked Edge Sharpener is the Finest way to get a Razor Sharp Edge on a Knife if a person can Sharpen a knife on a stone . It is Impossible to mess up a blade with the 20° angle frame . I Sharpened my Bowie Buck Knife , It hasn't been that sharp since I bought it back in 1972 . A great house hold Item ..

Directions
The only thing I would ask is that it comes with more directions on how to use it properly. I have seen several different models of this and I think I've got the older version I saw the one with the knobs on each end where you can turn it that was the one I was actually looking for but this one will do it just has the two sides.

Extraordinarily Horrible Product1
Mine arrived with the sharpening plate already broken off from the handle. The manufacturer used glue to join metal to plastic. The shuttle broke of the very first stroke, and I immediately threw it into the trash. Manufacturer needs to be ashamed of themeselves. It's a great little design, ruined by the use of the worst possible materials. Don't waste your money.
