It’s good and stuff
Solid mount, holds up NVG well. Don’t know why people would try to be cheap on a mount that holds up your thousands of dollar night vision. I did cut the switch off because it annoys me. You get what you pay for, and screw the original bayonet mount system, that thing was garbage.

Buy the one without the switch
J arm is solid and interfaces great with the g24 mount. The flip up auto switch however does not work and is a known issue with Wilcox. Unfortunately I tried the 2 j arms on all of my Pvs 14 mounts and none worked with the switch.
Wilcox Jarm
You get what you pay for with Wilcox. Solid built and hardly any wiggle in it. The on/off switch works fine for now but not the most practical thing. I might just cut it off in the future to have one less thing to worry about on my helmet setup

You are not buying this for the auto off function
Be warned most of these units do not actually work with their auto off function. Talking with TNVC only a small number of them actually work with the auto off button or when it is removed from the mount.
You are not buying this for that feature you are buying this for the angle of the arm to put the PVS14 closer to your face.
Just cut the switch off the jarm if yours does not work and continue using the arm.

On/Off Button
On/Off Button only works for turning the PVS14 'off'. More irritating is the magnet to secure the switch to the mount is soyboy weak and falls off constantly leaving a dangling wire and button in your face.

Good, not perfect
Thought this thing was gonna be flawless, but not exactly. 1)The screw won’t work on a standard pvs14 due to its length being too long and thread too short, had to swap out with the screw on my other regular j arm to make it work. 2) the on/off switch only works for turning the nods off but not turning it back on. Other than that, the J arm itself is sturdy and well-made, fit on a G24 with absolutely no wiggles.

- On/off switch cannot turn back on

Wilcox AN/PVS-14 Gen1 Arm with NVG On/Off Switch
Solid arm moves the PVS-14 closer to your eye and is for use with the Wilcox G24 mount. Power button ONLY turns the unit off and that is it design.I find the off button is a nice feature for instant turn off when hunting but you do need to turn the unit power switch off and then back on to power the unit back up.
