By the ghost of John Moses Browning

What is this? Why is this? Who moved the rock? For the price of this thing, I could buy a gun safe and then fill it. The one and only purpose of this monstrosity is to build props for movie studios that want something that looks super futuristic while confounding most rational firearms owners as to what the build actually is.

A decent holographic sight or red dot with a magnifier will cost somewhere between 500 and 800 dollars. Say you go all-out with Aimpoint and it will run 2,000 dollars. But it doesn't need built onto a rail extension for a handguard. The picatinny rails built onto just about any rifle or upper one cares to buy are rock solid and this trinket acknowledges this fact because the bizarre extension has places to attach onto them! Pros:
  • You save about 30 minutes of mounting work if you're too stupid to figure it out otherwise.
  • Will switch firing solutions on the fly if you remember which button to hit in a firefight. Somehow.
  • Makes you look like you know what you're doing.
Cons:
  • Are you really stupid enough to need this to mount the attachments included with it?
  • Everyone who uses the stuff cobbled together in this mess already knows you don't need it to do the job.
  • You will have no clue what you're doing because you bought this instead of ammo and training.
Best Used for:
  • Hollywood prop work.
  • Attaching to a gun that doesn't work so you can show it off without removing it from the safe.
  • Money laundering?
