Halo rangefinder - Halo XRT62 Laser Range Finder

I am 82 years old and still love to duck hunt, but recently I have more difficulty determining the distance I have to set my decoys from my blind. My decoy location tells me how far away the ducks and geese are when I shoot. Since I will not shoot at ducks beyond 40 yards because there is too great a chance for wounding I use the furthest decoy as my shooting guide. I try to set my furthest decoy 35 yards out so when the duck or goose gets over that decoy I know it is in range and I can shoot. The Halo Rangefinder is excellent to determine the distance the guide decoy is set from my blind. Because I bought this rangefinder in July and the waterfowl season doesn't open until the end of September I won't know if it works as well as I want so I can't give a good review of the product until November.
