Most Helpful Positive Review Wiley-X Air Rage Polarized Sunglasses
The Wiley-X Air Rage polarized sunglasses with facial cavity seal are great for general use and especially boating, as the facial cavity seal blocks light from all sides. The soft pad on the facial cavity seal also makes the glasses very comfortable. Despite the anti-fog holes for ventilation on the cavity seal, the glasses do fog up at times, but the benefits outweighs the inconvenience in my opinion. The glasses come with two straps, a long leash cord and a short elastic strap that holds the glasses firmly to your head. Pros: Comfort, clarity, eye protection, head strap versatility Cons: In...

Wiley X Airrage Sunglasses

by Jane, from WA, United States Written on June 29, 2018
This is my 2nd pair of Wiley sunglasses. I use them as bicycling glasses, wear them 4-5 days/week, & they help keep dust, polllen & wind from aggravating my sensitive eyes. The narrow frame fits a woman's face nicely. Also, the rubber gasket helps the glasses seal the face. Gaskets are removable and can be gently washed, another benefit of this product.
Pros:
  • narrow frame
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Bike Riding

These are my second Pair of Wiley-X Prescription sunglasses. Very happy with them, and that the frames accommodate my prescription (not all sunglasses frames do). Recommend anti-fog and polarized lenses.

Wiley X Airrage Motorcycle glasses

by John, from NY, United States Written on February 25, 2015
I have had WileyX glasses since well forever as a firearms instructor I bought them and then made sure all my students got them. Then comes the Harley story. I just love the air rage photo chromatic glasses because they just plain protect you from the sun, the wind and stuff that comes up from the road. They are light adjustable so they are good to go any time of the day or night. This past summer I hit a frost heave in the road that threw me off the bike and I landed leading with my left eye area. I was pretty nicked up but the glasses saved my eyesight and probably a fractured skull. The glasses were scratched and pretty torn up but they were intact. The EMT saved them to show the Doctor and he advised that they were a big reason I was not more seriously injured. Best part of the story is the bike and I were both repairable and I have a new set of Airrage glasses and waiting for good weather.
Pros:
  • durable, good storage, great protection
Cons:
  • None

Wiley X Airrage Motorcycle glasses

by John, from NY, United States Written on December 13, 2014
This summer I had a serious MC accident and with no reservations at all will say that my Wilet X Airrage glasses saved my left eye. They are truly impact resistant and one of the points of impact was the left side of my face. I still have those glasses today. They are beat up BUT my eye and face are OK. That being said these glasses are ideal for serious riding. Photo-chromatic lenses mean they can be worn day and night. No need for two pairs. They are wind and weather resistant as well as very comfortable. I also use these glasses for firearms training and qualifications as well as ski glasses for the spring season. After the accident I hung up the old pair and immediatly ordered a new pair.
Pros:
  • comfortable to wear
  • Impact resistant
  • Change as light dims or brightens
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Motorcycle cruising
  • firearme eye protection
  • Spring skiing

Not really a con, but I had to get used to the foam around the inside of the glasses. It just felt odd for a bit.
Pros: great value at a decent price
