A So-So Accessory, Needs a Better Gasket
Even the OEM seal, that came with the glasses had a very limited lifespan. These last about 8-10 months, with casual use. I used mine daily at work,(LE)in warm to temperate climate. The gasket portion became loose within 2 months. The adhesive tends to not withstand moisture too well. I've had to replace them three times already, within 1 1/2 years. I can't imagine having to use them in harsher, hotter/humid or incredibly hot climates like the middle east. In those conditions I don't think they'd last a month. Having to replace them continuously, would make it cost prohibitive.
When they're new, they're fantastic. They give a good seal, and protect you from small debris. Also makes the glasses seat better.
If they came up with a better gasket, or stronger adhesive, I would be happy to recommend it.
