the change in bright mid day sunlight is almost non existent. i couldn't barely see any change at all! I've owned my X's for a while, and got tired of changing from clear to dark. I use them for riding my harley. THey work fine but these automatic adjusting lenses are garbage. don't waste your money. maybe someday they'll get it right.

Cons: they dont' get very dark at all! almost still clear.
