Light adjusting lenses
Disappointed at the amount of change to dark. They aren't as dark as the standard smoke, yet they supposedly block light transmission by an additional 2%. For everyday use they'd be fine, but for say a desert location, the jury is still out.

As advertised functionality
The quality is as expected of Wiley X. These red lenses definitely highlight contrast in lower light environments. It makes shooting on dim or cloudy days much nicer and generally works well for driving in low light also. I'm fairly impressed with their functionality for increasing vision.
I can't speak to their durability as I haven't tested and hope not to test them too extensively. But since I've used Wiley's for quite a while and have been hit in the face with small lead and copper fragments and other flying particles I'm sure they will hold up just as advertised.

Great Product
I got these replacement lenses for my XL1 glasses after I ran over them with my truck. The frames were a little bent, and the lenses creased, however with a little effort to get the new lenses in, they are as good as new. I will never get any other glasses.

Wiley X XL-1 Extra Clear Lenses
These offer awesome protection if using for recreational shooting, paint ball, or working with tools when extra protection is needed.
Pros: Very durable and don't scratch easy
