Most Helpful Positive Review Wiley x foam gasket replacement
Unfortunately this is not as good as ther original foam gasket that the glasses came with. I though I was buying an equivalent replacement. This has less foam so more wind can come through. Next time I'll just buy new glasses when the time comes.
Most Helpful Negative Review kept popping off, until they were lost, cannot find a replacement.
The foam liner kept popping out on one side, that is until it hopped off and ran away entirely. I can wear my glasses without the headband if the facial cavity liner is not on because the glasses are lighter. This is the right replacement gasket

At first I was worried about ordering this part. Because the size "XLG" made me think "Extra Large". Well this is the correct replacement for my Wiley XL-1 frame. Original part. Snapped right in. And this price is right!

Not any better than cheap sunglasses

Don't get dark enough for me to consider them sunglasses. The gasket is cheap and thin and needs to be replaced frequently.They should go back to the original gasket. I don't think they are worth the money unless you just want the status of having expensive sunglasses. If that is the case, then buy the Harley Davidson brand. I have glued the gasket twice so far. The original glue gets tacky with heat.
I do like the looks. I would like them better if the lens were mirrored.

Wiley-X Sunglasses / Goggles Replacement Foam Gaskets

Perfect fit replacement for my glasses. Original was 8 years old and finally disintegrated. I use them for riding motorcycle and in Florida they frequently get wet from daily afternoon storms. Hopefully another 8 years out of new one

Wiley X gaskets

Very effective for wind and dust. For the price-- They should however last longer and be more resistant to sun screen- which breaks the coating down.
Sailing, motorcycling, desert, firearms.

Outstanding protection

I use my RX sunglasses everyday in some hates conditions from operating a chainsaw to mixing and treating invasive weeds with many different types of herbicide. These sunglasses and the foam gasket really reduces what debris could enter my eyes.
What a wonderful thing.

Good Seal for Hazardous Work

I use my glasses for chain sawing, wood chipping, and mowing. Seals last about one year. They keep debris out of my eyes. I also use the elastic strap to keep to glasses tight. Does create some fogging depending on the temperature and level of activity.
