A quick and easy, if slightly wasteful sight solution, for the Mark IV
These sights are excellent. Full stop. The fiber optics are clear and easily acquired making them great for indoor rimfire target shooting.
The REAL trick of these sights is that Ruger and Williams apparently use the same manufacturer for their rear sight bases, IF you have the NEW Ruger Mark IV sights. In that case, all you have to do is unscrew the adjustment screw and take off the rear sight windage carrier and aperture from both sights and swap them. You don't have to mess with the dovetails, etc. and it takes 5 minutes and screwdriver.
So, how do you know if you have the new Ruger Mark IV Sights? The "new" (2019-ish generation) sights have the rear sight blade integrated into the rear sight windage carrier. If your sight uses rear aperture that is a flat metal piece that slides in a thin groove in the sight body, then that is the OLD style sight.
The only downside is that you had to essentially purchase a second, unnecessary dovetail mount base. Or you can upgrade your pre-2019 Mark IV or Mark III.

Pros:
- Easy installation on a NEW style Ruger Sight
- Easily acquired and highly visible in low indoor range lighting
- Great fiber optics
Cons:
- Extra parts you don't need if you have a post 2019 Mark IV
- A little fiddly to sight in, but that is more Ruger's fault
- A set with larger fiber optics would be appreciated for those with weaker eyesight
Best Used for:
- Target shooting
