Springfield Armory 1911
Not sure if it’s the magazine or the gun, but it sits a little too high in the gun and rubs on the slide hindering its movement. Otherwise the quality of the magazine looks great.
Pros:
- Good Quailty
Cons:
- poor fit
Would recommend: No
Wilson Combats mags are simply the best...
There is simply no going wrong with a Wilson Combat magazine for a 1911 pistol. There are other great and not so great magazines on the market but Wilson Combat stands above all. The US Marines specified Wilson Combat for their M45A1 pistols which should be endorsement enough.
Pros:
- Simply the best.
Cons:
- A bit pricey but quality costs.
Best Used for:
- 1911 pistols.

Wilson combat elite tactical
I bought this mag to cure a problem with my .38 super mag of flipping the round up upon loading thus jamming the action. The mag cured that problem only to fail to load the last round every time used. I loaded the rounds ten one/thousands under what the Sierra book listed for the 125 g. JHP. I will examine if I can shorten the OAL safely to possibly attempt to cure this problem. Otherwise I will have to ask my gunsmith. Overall it appears very well made and finished. If I can solve its problem I will buy more of them.

It's Wilson Combat....need I say more?
I really love these magazines and the finish. I haven't had any misfeeds or malfunctions with these magazines, which is why they're highly recommended by most people who shoot 1911's. The quality, fit, finish, and function are excellent. I plan on buying several more in the near future.

- materials
Cons:
- A little more expensive
