Most Helpful Positive Review Works flawlessly in a Toolcraft 9mm Gen 2 BCG
I've read mixed reviews elsewhere regarding this firing pin and it's compatibility with various 9mm BCG's. I rolled the dice on this firing pin along the corresponding Wilson Combat spring and they both work perfectly in my AR9 with a Toolcraft Gen 2 9mm BCG. Put 250 rounds through the gun today and it ran like a top.

Does not Fit Springfield Saint Victor .308 bolt

This pin is a .075 diameter tip. It DOES NOT fit the bolt of a a.Springfield Saint Victor .308 or any other bolt utilizing a .065 firing pin tip diameter. Not necessarily Wilson Combat's fault, but they should list the pin tip diameter with this product add to avoid someone buying this and finding out the hard way they just dropped 20 bucks on something that's of no use to them, like I did.
Pros:
  • OK if you have a .075 bolt
Cons:
  • 20 bucks wasted.if you have a .065
  • 20 bucks wasted if you have a .065 diameter bolt

FM replacement

Bought this to replace the Foxtrot Mike 9mm pin. That pin, while so far has always set off each round, made me uncomfortable with its very shallow strike. The Wilson hits much harder

Definite upgrade

Best AR-9 firing pin out there. No erosion of the tip after thousands of rounds. Far superior to stock firing pin. Best price that I found anywhere on the internet. Shipping time and price was reasonable.
