Easy to install, extends far enough to be effective. This is my 3rd purchase of this item and I wouldn't use anything else.

This is an excellent addition to a GI charging handle. A bit tedious to install, but is really worth it.
Pros:
- ergonomic
- Provides leverage for operating GI charging handle
Cons:
- Installation is a bit tedious
Best Used for:
- clone builds
- GI charging handles

This enlarged/extended latch does increase the surface area to actuate the charging handle, but not as good as one may think. The shallow angle at which the latch tapers does not facilitate one finger actuation, but instead requires the user to hold the opposite side of the charging handle to properly pull it (Unlike the more conventional non-ambi extended latch handles like the VTLOR or strike industries).
I bought this item for the 'vibes' but it was just not cutting it, so I have to give it 3 stars. the finish quality and construction is of high-quality though.

I decided to go with a Wilson Combat charging handle for my AR-10 DMR style build. I noticed when using a standard AR-10 charging handle that even without a scope mounted the distance needed to have the bolt clear the bolt catch was much longer and it was much more difficult to accomplish. I needed something that I can actuate with one hand and clear the bell of a rifle scope. So why didn't I go with an ambi safety? I wanted something that could only be actuated in one direction not both. Overall, Fit and Finish is great, installation was easy but required a vice, 1/16 pin punch and a non marring gunsmith hammer. Once installed it works great, I found I can actuate the bolt with alot of control compared to a standard charging handle and find it to be perfect for a DMR style build or a build using a a scope.
Pros:
- Works as advertised
- Fit & function
- Easy to install & light weight.
Cons:
- Requires Tools
- Snaggish
- not ambidextrious
Best Used for:
- DMR style builds
- Using scopes

Went together really well. Easier than I imagined. Really nice finish. Latched very tight. Just how I like it. Clean separation when loading. I'd definitely buy these again. Nothing else really to say. It does the job nicely.

I am a lefty, and for some reason manipulating the charging handle is difficult for me. Add one of these on your charging handle makes all of the difference in the world. Easy install, and saves you from having to purchase a more expensive charging handle
Cons:
- nothing - it is about perfect for its purpose

Started looking for one of these since my scope is as far back on the picatinny rail of my AR as possible. It's hard to pull the charging handle. This makes it is so much easier to cycle your charging handle even with gloves on. I Saw this on OpticsPlanet and since it is a Wilson Combat item, I knew it would be of excellent quality and it is. There are a number of different designs and manufacturers available for any rifle configuration. Good buy, glad I got one!

I had difficulty with the factory charging handle latch on a scoped flattop AR 10. I decided on the Wilson Combat product based on my past experience with their products. This extended latch gives plenty of knuckle clearance from the scope and makes left handed charging easy to do. I purchased two of them and would buy another one if I ever pick up a third AR.
Pros:
- Excellent quality
- extra leverage
- good scope clearance
Cons:
- Almost need three hands to install
