Perfect for my 870 Wingmaster
Too old to hunt ducks anymore, and I wanted to bolt on some defense options. You can't find a short barrel but you can start with the magazine extension now! Fit perfect and very well made. Best price around.

Doesn"t fit
Received Ext. Tube very quickly from Optics Planet.
Tried to install it on an 870. Would only screw on a couple of turns. Tried it on other peoples 870's Out of 5, it only fit one, which was an older one from 1974. The others, made in the late 1990's and early 2000's, no go.

Magazine plus one
Works great. Spring is a bit long for my SBR 870 magazine tube, so I used the original spring. Optics planet didn’t have it in stock so I back ordered it & it showed up much sooner than expected.

Works well, looks good
This extension tube came with a spring and a bright green follower. It was a very fast job to install it. The only hiccup I had was when I removed the original threaded cap I was unsure of how to remove the inner cap that held the spring in place. After YouTubing for a bit, I just used some needle nose pliers to wiggle that part out and I was off to the races. Apparently newer 870's have bumps on the inside of the mag tube that keep the spring in place which must be flattened (dremmeled or filed) to remove the spring. Once I know what I was doing my second shotgun took 60 seconds from start to finish to complete this job.

12 ga extension
Extremely well made. Perfect threads, perfect fit. You can actually swap this from left hand to right sling position. I would highly recomend this product.

Perfect Fit Extension for Parnder Pump
I have been shopping for a tube extension for a couple of years. Not as a necessity but a want. A lot of what I would see needed modified for what I wanted, a simple, short extension for an additional shell. Not an extension that was going to exceed the barrel length. Reading through a forum, I stumbled onto a gentleman that recommended Wilson Combat, various sizes, and mentioned Optics Planet. With the extension options, I found exactly what I was looking for. Fit my HR Pardner pump 12 gauge perfectly. I was comfortable it would because the Parnder Pump is compatible with Remington 870 parts and accessories. Very happy with this purchase.

Good product
Well built, fits nicely on my 870. Almost sits flush with the end of the barrel on the 18.5 inch 870 express 7 shot. I believe it would be the same on a 14in 870 shockwave. Only real downside I could see was the short spring that came with the kit. If you’re running on the 7 shot like mine I used a longer aftermarket spring and cut it down to size.
