Great Drop-In Replacement for my 1911
I have one of those high-dollar 1911's with a 2-piece guide rod that screws together in the middle where all the interaction is taking place. I wanted to get rid of the 2-piece setup as I have heard that it can start to unscrew when in use. You can go with the traditional, short guide rod, but I like the look of the full-length. And with Wilson Combat, you can not go wrong. Solid construction all the way. I preserve the look of my pistol and have the piece of mind that it will not come unscrewed when in use.

nice guide rod
I tried to put this on my Tisas 4.25 inch barrel pistol, but it would not fit. The part was solid and appeared to be a quality part made by Wilson Combat.
