This is the correct gas tube to use for your rifle length AR-10/LR-308. The 15.5" length gives you maximum gas key engagement for best performance in your 308, 6.5 CM, 260, 243, 7mm-08. 358, etc.. This is the only brand gas tube that I use for all the AR-308's that I build. You get maximum gas delivered to your BCG with these. They cost a few bucks more, but it is worth it.
