I’ve owned one for over a year now. I’ve ran hundreds of .308 rounds through it, and I’ve never had any issues at all. It gets dirty quick, but that’s expected. Trick is dawn dish soap. Let it sit in hot water with the soap for about 20 minutes and scrub it down. It literally still looks brand new after I clean it. There’s not a mark on it after at least 600 rounds, and zero ejection issues. The coating provides great lubrication, and I holds oil just fine. Not sure what someone else was talking about on a different review on here. It’s just impossible to see because of the coating. I heavily recommend this bcg.

Bought a Wilson combat barrel to go with this bolt carrier group and every round gets stuck. This bolt carrier group definitely has a problem with the extractor not sliding well enough. Ive tried getting a hold of wilson combat and have not heard a response yet.

It works great but there is one issue, it does not hold oil/lubricant well. I did not know this before purchasing and I guess this is the issue with all BCG's coated with Nickel Boron. I do prefer phosphate for the bcg. This is in a bench rest rifle anyhow so probably not that big of a deal but I wouldnt use a bcg coated with NiB for a home defense or field rifle.

Just ran 100+ rounds of 308 on this bolt and it runs like a dream. No issue with it. It was a little more than just a regular bolt, but happy with it.

I have a NIB BCG on my .223 rifle and when I shot my Seekins SP10 with the OEM BCG in it I was thinking about getting an upgrade for it. Well, after a light day of practice, the OEM BCG seized up, so I immediately ordered this one. Built like a tank and smooth as silk, requiring minimal lubrication...Loving it so far.
Pros:
- very slick
- heavy duty build

Wasn’t sure if this bolt would cycle in my DPMS LR 308. The day I got , I went out to the desert for a test fire. I’m really impressed with how well it operated. I think it might run better than the factory bolt. Very pleased with this product

This is one of the best looking BCG I have come across. They need to change the picture that they are using. Mine came with duel extractors(which I didn't see on the description) and I think they should have said something about it( don't get me wrong, It is a plus) I planed on using it in both my 308 and 6.5.

The nickel boron finish is flawless and smooth. the dual ejector works flawlessly. No issue with cratered primers. This is a beautiful well designed bcg. Could not ask for anything more. The picture on optics planet website is not what the bcg actually looks like. If you have a 308 or 6.5 creed build or whatever this should be your choice.

The picture does not do it justice.. it’s a beautifully made BCG and it runs with out fail. I put this in my 6.5 Creedmoor build and not 1 issue. I will be putting Wilson combat bcg’s in all my builds

WOW... This bolt is so smooth it's picking up warm stick of butter. The Wilson Combat NIB BCG was the last component needed to complete a new 6.5 Creedmoor build that was just finished and it's performed flawlessly from the very first shot. After a day at the ranch, this bolt shows no signs of wear, and cleaning took little more than disassembly and a good wipe down. NO carbon fouling on or in the bolt, including the gas tube interface. After nearly 100 rounds down the pipe the bolt still looks brand new!
Pros:
- High quality and reliable performance
Best Used for:
- Anywhere that reliability and performance are are desired, and it looks good too.
