Most Helpful Negative Review Poor quality control
I purchased 200 unprimed 45 Colt cases. A full 30% of these won't accept a primer. If you buy them be prepared to have to swage the primer pockets prior to using. What a waste of time. I have not had to swage pockets from Starline ever

Brass not as good as Starline

by Topkick, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on July 13, 2025
I bought this brass to try out and I'm disappointed in the performance. It will not crimp as well as Starline brass. Starline is a heavier duty brass that takes a medium to heavy crimp with no distortion. This Winchester brass deforms when applying a medium to heavy crimp. I'll be lucky if I get more than 1 reload out of this brass.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • thin walled
  • deforms easily
Best Used for:
  • Only light crimp use
Would recommend: No

Winchester Brass, good stuff

by Prescott Sam, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on January 5, 2025
I have always tried to use Winchester Brass when I could get it. It has a greater internal volume than other brands. This time, I had about six cases with faulty flash holes. This is the first I time have seen this in Winchester Brass
Pros:
  • good price
Cons:
  • None

Unprimed brass

by Kim Donaldson, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on March 12, 2024
This is nice brass, the lengths are all perfect. The only problem I noticed is that the primer flash holes aren't uniform. Some aren't even round. I would buy again and I recommend this brass.

The Colt brass is made by Winchester, and is a high quality product. The most impressive part is that they had it in stock! Everyone else wants you to back order. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
