Great for 300 black out - Winchester Deer Season XP .300 AAC Blackout 150 grain Extreme Point Polymer Tip Centerfire Rifle Ammunition

A medium sized doe was shot at 70yards with my 8" 300black out Ar15 while being suppressed. Round entered quartering away and smashed a rib, blew up the liver, clipped the lung lacerating them severely, hit a rib going out with a nice pass thru shot. She ran 40 yards and expired. I could not pick up a blood trail but the holes were fairly good sized, estimating approx. 0.4-.0.45 in size. Given the organs that were hit and how they were hit I contribute that to the lack of blood trail. When she was hit she jumped about 5ft into the air, her whole body rippled and she staggered before running away.
I was weary about the 300black out for a hunting round but now I have no doubts in my mind that Winchester has made a very good round that the 300b excels in.
