Good 2nd shot

I use this load in the 2nd barrel of my over under shotgun. If I miss close in with the 1st shot this load gives me that little extra reach with the 20ga for the longer 2nd shot. Anchors the birds well and no wounded birds.
Pros:
  • Extra dense patterns for the 20ga.
Cons:
  • None for me
Best Used for:
  • Large birds such as pheasents

WINCHESTER SUPER PHEASANT 20 GAUGE 3" 1 1/4 OZ 5 SHOT

Winchester super pheasant load has great patterns and plenty of power in the 20 gauge round to take down pheasants in any condition that you may come upon. I have always been happy with Winchester products.

  • Plenty of power and great patters.

  • None

  • Pheasant hunting.

Chasing Pheasants

We had neglected to take inventory of 20 ga shells before a pheasant hunting trip to South Dakota. It was tough to find the right shells but Optics Planet had these and delivered them to us in plenty of time for the trip. The overall experience was easy and the price was decent for todays market. The shells worked great and we had a productive trip.

  • Pheasants and Sharptails
