Uncle Mikes wood screw type swivels
I purchased Uncle Mike's wood screw type swivels for my Ruger .22. Even though the rifle stock is nylon and hollow after drilling only about a quarter of an inch the wood screw swivels worked great and they stay in place with a little epoxy. I am pretty brutal on a gun and these swivels can take it. This was my first time installing swivels and I had the job completed in about 15 minutes following the supplied instructions. These are great swivels and their price is extremely reasonable. The staff at OpticsPlantet recommended these to me and they worked perfectly.

Great swivel
Good workmanship. Works as advertised. I used on my .270. Held my new strap just fine. The instructions were accurate, these mounts are better than my 1980 vintage ones for my other rifle. No swivel in 2 directions but that is as advertised.

Uncle Mike does it right
Uncle Mike is my go-to brand for generic hardware like swivel mounts. The hardware is well designed and well made. Be aware that the screws require a lot of dept for purchase. The front is usually the limiting condition as it requires 5/8 inch minimum of stock thickness. I was going to mount this on a Glenfield lever gun but the stock is too thin. If you try to trim the length of the screw there will not be sufficient purchase for the threads. Use a magazine barrel band instead.

Uncle Mike's Rifle Sling Swivel Wood Screw Type
These were purchased as a gift for a family member, They were installed on the wood stock of a sportster 8mm Mauser. There were NO issues with the installation of the swivel studs nor the function of the 1 inch locking swivels in conjunction with the leather sling. This product will last for decades of use with proper care and handling.

I bought these to replace the stock swivels on my Mini-14. Easy to swap out and very durable. Can use a bunch of different slings with them now.

Uncle Mikes 1 1/4" Sling Swivel Set for Wood Stocks
These are for 1 1/4" slings which I feel are better than using one inch slings. The extra 1/4" in sling width makes a difference and is less likely to cut into your shoulder etc. If using a loop sling for shooting, you can attach the sling loop to your upper arm and easily detach the sling from the rifle when you leave the firing line. It is just as simple to attach the sling swivel when you go back on the line. This makes it very easy to to maintain the exact sling lenth needed for your position. These are great.
