Most Helpful Positive Review Very Nice!
Arrived undamaged in a timely manner and took about 15 minutes to set up and familiarize with it. It's smooth, quiet, and the quality is good. The 3/4 hp 120v DC motor provides all the torque you'd expect. The tailpiece alignment was perfect right out of the box. All of the controls, their locations, and adjustments work for me just the way they are. I did order the bed extension after this lathe was all set up; it arrived in about a week and it too was easily set up. lathe time

this is my second lathe the first was a harbor freight one and this one tops all it has speed durability that I was looking for in my second lathe . One of the best part was I could afford it money wise!!I was concerned about one thing is the spindle nut that the chuck screws onto looks like it is made of plastic, so I call the co. and they assured me it was durable and they had no complaints of it failing in the past and told me that it was under warranty that it would be covered if it did. They were right . I love it and it has served me well. Since I bought it I have added a bed extension and love to turn bats and all kinds of things.

Great customer service

The lathe came with a couple of damaged plastic parts. Optics Planet arranged for The manufacturer to send replacement parts. The lathe is pretty much everything that I was looking for except it doesn't have a reverse function for sanding. Very quiet and vibration free.
