Packaging of this item was cheap to say the least! The weight of this item should of been packaged in heavier box or container. You don't ship something this heavy in 1/2" styrofoam lined & cheap china box & expect not to be damaged & it was but was able to pound out some dents, straighten spindles, & had to look through box for the parts & chipped paint; don't expect it to look new!! Luckily it did work & nothing was off centered. Most of this could of been AVOIDED, as I called & e-mailed Optics Planet that I had a family emergency & was going to be out of town & to hold this item until after I returned on a certain date; as they agreed & said item was on back-order anyways & would not be a problem. So what happens they get item in early & ship it anyways. Long story short Fed-X had to make three different attempts to deliver, so you can imagine what kind of condition it was in!!! In reviewing this item I had heard of bad reviews on this item. But as some of you, you know there are always unhappy people, so I say be forewarned. Optics was going to give me a full refund but all they did was giving me a small refund, & it would of cost me more than this to repackage & ship back. So I kept the item, but as I like new looking stuff & like a nice shop, this isn't going to happen, my stupidity.
