Premium Upgrade for your Shotgun

I bought a Mossberg 590 shockwave and wanted to upgrade it with some wood furniture. There are not many options on the market and the ones that are just aren't high quality. This forend is by far the best I've seen and handled. The texture provides the perfect amount of friction to prevent it slipping from your hand. The inclusion of Mlok slots is a game changer. I'm not aware of any other forend on the market that allows you to have the classic look of premium wood while also giving the ability to use it in tactical situations. This paired with the Woox Gladitor grip took the aesthetics of the gun to another level. What was originally a fun "range toy" shotgun, now looks like a premium collectors piece. the wood and the finish are beautiful and I'll be proud to display them for years to come.

Decent, but a little overpriced

I really like wood on a firearm compared to plastic. Figured I'd give the woox stuff a try despite feeling it was a little overpriced. The fit was good and it came with the tool you need to swap it out. They also have a youtube video showing the install. It is a bit bulky compared to the original forend. I would figure they need a little bulk to accomodate the mlok. Overall I am happy with it.

Missing forend nut tool to remove

Forend itself is very nice, but the removal tool box was empty. Had to order one from Brownells to finish install.

Well manufactured but does not fit 590A1 or 500 or Maverick 88

The grip looks like the right answer for increased shotgun handling. OpticsPlanet did their usual very timely, well packed delivery. When I installed the grip on my 590A1, there was 3/4 inch of play with the grip. Tried it on my Model 500 - same issue. Tried it on a buddy's Maverick 88 - again same issue. If Woox decides to build a grip that will work on a 590A1, I will reorder.
