kyle1337's Review of X-Vision HIIT 1x Red Dot Sight

I received this today 4-18-23. The packaging was good. Upon initial inspection out of the box, I was blown away at the construction quality, and ruggedness. However, the actual operation leaves much to be desired. However, that desire is tempered by the price. I purchased this when it was on sale for 67 dollars. Now they (optics planet) says it originally goes for 239. I would not spend 239 on this, there's much better options for that price. X-Vision is an unknown company to me. I've never heard of them and had trouble finding reviews. But it appears so far, they put much thought and care into the construction, but not much further into the operation. It's very basic. 6 brightness settings and windage and elevation adjustments and that's it. The picture is a tiny bit blurry, but nothing that can't be worked with. An excellent entry level red dot, especially on the construction and price point, boasting a 22,000 hour run time on 2 AAA batteries. No need to spend gobs on CR123's. Additionally i noticed that optics planet raised the price to 83.00 dollars. I'd do some comparing before purchasing. But if you want something simple, easy to use, clear"ish" picture, but will survive being banged around with sturdy picatinny mount and absolute co-witness. Than this might be your choice. it was designed in the states, but manufactured in China. Like I said, for an entry level red dot, or to be thrown on a cheap truck gun, and doesn't break the bank and will get the job done, than this might be your choice. It's not going to win any awards, but it works. I would recommend at 83 dollars. The highest ever saw it sell for was 115, which seems about right. Not 239 dollars. If you're strapped and want something decent then get it! If you're not strapped and are a very experienced shooter looking for something good...then don't. That's my 2 cents. Hope it helps.
