Rugged Little red dot.
Not a lot review out there on this unit. First off I would say that I am impressed with it. This is a solid heavy red dot with a secure mount. The glass is clear and the reticle is sharp. there is no tint like found in cheap units in this price range. I would compare it equally to holosun or Bushnel...

Budget optic
The optic itself has great clarity and great lighting only thing that really bothered me about the optic is that it would not tighten down enough on my optic riser or AR rail, I did have to mess with it quite a bit to finally be able to mount it on the the weapon, would I buy again, yes but if the p...

An intresting entry level optic with a few quirks
SO right off the bat I do like the like this optic, but it has some flaws/quirks hopefully will be worked out if the company does a version 2. Its at best an entry level optic if your on a budget or just want an optic on a budget blaster. The optic itself has a few quirks with the exposed turrets on the side (after sighting it in I just put black electrical tape over to prevent movement) to the odd battery compartment in the front. Oh high settings you get a bit of reflection on the bottom that can be a tad distracting if your going from full light to low light areas. When mounting the optic if you buy one, put some lock tight on the mounting screw to keep it locked in place, that fixed all the wiggle problems most people seem to have. Despite this once you got it sighted in it works just like every other red dot on the market, the 2 moa dot with the 65 moa donut of doom works rather well for quick up close under 200 yard shooting despite the smaller eye box. I was able to ring C zone steel at 300 yards with a little bit of distance practice free standing once you know where to go, pair this with some off brand or their brand magnifier and well you got a good cheap combo for a range blaster.
Is this a go to work or off slugging through the trenches optic? Not from what I can see, but after banging it around in a truck for the past month it still holds zero, a pair of lithium ion AAA batteries basically gives me close to a year battery life on medium settings. Snag one on sale...

Entry Level
I received this today 4-18-23. The packaging was good. Upon initial inspection out of the box, I was blown away at the construction quality, and ruggedness. However, the actual operation leaves much to be desired. However, that desire is tempered by the price. I purchased this when it was on sale for 67 dollars. Now they (optics planet) says it originally goes for 239. I would not spend 239 on this, there's much better options for that price. X-Vision is an unknown company to me. I've never heard of them and had trouble finding reviews. But it appears so far, they put much thought and care into the construction, but not much further into the operation. It's very basic. 6 brightness settings and windage and elevation adjustments and that's it. The picture is a tiny bit blurry, but nothing that can't be worked with. An excellent entry level red dot, especially on the construction and price point, boasting a 22,000 hour run time on 2 AAA batteries. No need to spend gobs on CR123's. Additionally i noticed that optics planet raised the price to 83.00 dollars. I'd do some comparing before purchasing. But if you want something simple, easy to use, clear"ish" picture, but will survive being banged around with sturdy picatinny mount and absolute co-witness. Than this might be your choice. it was designed in the states, but manufactured in China. Like I said, for an entry level red dot, or to be thrown on a cheap truck gun, and doesn't break the bank and will get th...

Good budget red dot with one flaw
I purchased this for my Ruger 10/22. It holds zero great for that purpose. I haven't used it on a higher caliber, so I can't speak to how well it can hold zero in that case. Great price point. It turns on great, but the drawback is turning it off. It is a significant process actually to get it off. It takes multiple tries to hit both buttons and get it to turn and stay off.
Pros:
- GREAT PRICE
Cons:
- difficult to turn off
Best Used for:
- small caliber
Would recommend: Yes
Better options at this price point, Poor Performer
Bought this for it's closed emitter. I was willing to take the risk at this price point ($100) for an unknown brand. My recommendation is buy any one of the many name brand <$100 red dots, or save up and get a better closed emitter red dot. I'll probably mount this on a safe queen that I don't have iron sights on. Still need to take it to the range and see how it performs , just from my initial impressions I'm guessing it won't hold zero after getting knocked around or shot on anything beefier than a 22. This thing turns on in a heart beat, but trying to mash both buttons and turning it off takes too many tries. The red dot/circle is blurry no matter the intensity setting, it leaves artifacts all over the place when moving. There's some kind of reflection probably from the length between the emitter and front glass. For non-reflective coated lenses, this thing works just like a mirror. For as large/heavy/bulky this thing is, you'd think they could recess the adjustment screws, nope they stick out the side. And with the odd mount, the rear of the site has an exposed underbelly that doesn't look water/dust/drop proof. No the mount doesn't look like you can swap it for something else, but it can be taken off (I guess you could JB weld it). I gave it 2 stars since the packaging is nice and I haven't shot it yet. I do not currently recommend this red dot.
Pros:
- Takes 2xAAA (chinese batteries included); red dot tracks edge-to-edge
Cons:
- Heavy
- Blurry
- horrible refresh
- emitter reflections
- controls (turning off)
- unprotected adjustment screws
- vulnerable underbelly
- allen key required for battery change
- bulky/big
- blue-green tint
- distracting glass reflection
Best Used for:
- Wasting batteries and $$$

Great and Accurate sight
The only drawback to this red dot is when mounted to your picatinny rail it wiggles back and fourth about 1/8 of an inch, it does hold zero and is accurate. I do have the sight as tight as it will get on my M&P 15. For the price if you want a budget friendly optic then it is for you, this compared to a Romeo 5, spend the extra 20 bucks if you can afford it on the Romeo.
Pros:
- Accurate
Cons:
- Loose fit around parts
Best Used for:
- Plinking & fun
