PT's Review of X-Vision HIIT 1x Red Dot Sight

SO right off the bat I do like the like this optic, but it has some flaws/quirks hopefully will be worked out if the company does a version 2. Its at best an entry level optic if your on a budget or just want an optic on a budget blaster. The optic itself has a few quirks with the exposed turrets on the side (after sighting it in I just put black electrical tape over to prevent movement) to the odd battery compartment in the front. Oh high settings you get a bit of reflection on the bottom that can be a tad distracting if your going from full light to low light areas. When mounting the optic if you buy one, put some lock tight on the mounting screw to keep it locked in place, that fixed all the wiggle problems most people seem to have. Despite this once you got it sighted in it works just like every other red dot on the market, the 2 moa dot with the 65 moa donut of doom works rather well for quick up close under 200 yard shooting despite the smaller eye box. I was able to ring C zone steel at 300 yards with a little bit of distance practice free standing once you know where to go, pair this with some off brand or their brand magnifier and well you got a good cheap combo for a range blaster.

Is this a go to work or off slugging through the trenches optic? Not from what I can see, but after banging it around in a truck for the past month it still holds zero, a pair of lithium ion AAA batteries basically gives me close to a year battery life on medium settings. Snag one on sale as honestly its not worth the full price of admission, if you just wanna try something different than the SIG romeo series that has gone way up in price from what they use to be.
Pros:
  • long battery life
  • easy of use
  • 65 MOA circle
Cons:
  • Reflection of color within the primary tube
  • exposed turrents
  • No shake awake
Best Used for:
  • Budget
  • receational
