Glad i gave them a try - XS Sight Systems DXT Standard Dot Sight - Glock

I wish I could just update my previous review but I can't so here goes another. So, here I am one year later and I sold my XS sites. I had the suppressor height tritium sites. Here is why I do not recommend these sites... Almost no manufacturer puts these as factory sites on their firearms. Standard 3dot is well..the industry standard. Training yourself to use these sites is very much possible, however it takes time. more importantly, retraining your brain to use these disrupts your natural relationship with 3dot sites. If you have multiple firearms you would need to switch all the sites to create consistency. Thinking even further ahead of that...I believe it could Potentially ruin your experience with hot new firearms/rentals that use 3dot. The likely hood of that happening depends on how much you shoot. I also noticed the finish in my sites began to collect tiny rust spots. Long term body sweat would wreak havoc on these sites so I was not a fan of that. one more additional fact of my situation was that I am experimenting with pistol red dots and my brain did not like to "dot the I" twice. Although they look cool they were just not for me.
