Excellent. One of the easiest ways to make your rifle better.
This sight is a great way to enhance your rifle's capability. Works great; no issues, comes with sight tool. The big dot it easy to install and easy to use. Enhances effectiveness in low light to no light evironments. An easy and effective way to make your weapon more versatile.
Does not fit Midwest combat sights
The pictures on OpticsPlanet and the xs manufacturer site show four indent locations. The actual product only has two that are located at 12 and 6 o'clock. Because of this it will not work with side indent pins at 3 o'clock like my Midwest iron sights. Too bad really because the sight does look like it would be great at quick target acquisition.

Great Sight
I put this front sight on my Kel Tec PLR 16 AR pistol and it made a huge difference in being able to see the front sight quickly as the gun came with just an all black metal front sight. The dot glows good in low light and the white circle is larger than most sights, but makes it quick to see that front sight, great for any close quarters type of firearm

- None unless you want a front sight with more longer range precision

Tritium Front Sight Post
I searched around, and read reviews of different tritium sights; this particular front post is exactly what I was looking for. The tritium glows well at night, and the white dot is useful in the day.

XS A SUCCESS!
I've used XS sights on pistols and rifles alike and XS is up at the top of quality manufacturers. This sight in particular is one of my favorites as it is fairly large and good for close quarters. Tritium is quality bright when needed. I have some older XS sights from the early 2000's that still have a decent amount of brightness left in the tritium. I just can't seem to get rid of them because they still work, 20yrs after being manufactured!

Great sight picture with a big dot
I mounted this sight post on a Troy hk style front sight and it works and looks great. Gives an excellent sight picture esp for CQB with the big white ring to put on the target, but without overwhelming your eye when making a precision shot. The tritium is bright enough to be seen well even in very low light but without any bloom in complete darkness. Highly recommend.
