Must Have for any Shotgun
If you have a brass bead sight on your shotgun and might even remotely use it for home defense, this is a must have.
Even if you dont have a brass bead sight, this is still something to consider.
Easy to install upgrade that makes acquiring the sight on your shotgun a breeze in any conditions, bright or dark.
Still allows me to shoot trap and sporting clays as good if not better than before. But now my shotgun is much better equipped should I need it in a home defense scenario.
Worth every penny.

Big improvement over brass bead
The final product is great, and a big upgrade over the brass bead (installed on my Mossberg Shockwave). Installation isn't too bad, but would be nice if jb weld was included. And the price is pretty steep for a single sight. But is still a recommend here.

Disappointed
I was stoked about this product. I ordered it for my Mossberg 500. First it comes with a screw/bead to replace the one on your barrel. The dot then mounts to that with epoxy or JB weld that IS NOT INCLUDED. This is a 60 or 70 dollar dot that cannot include 1/10th of an ounce of weld or epoxy? Weak....

great upgrade over bead sight
The XS Big Dot is a huge improvement over the stock bead sight. It's much easier to acquire the sight and gets you on target faster. Works great in low light. Just make sure you get some JB Weld or epoxy/adhesive before you begin.

Fast and accurate sighting in all lighting.
These sights are fantastic. With a simple cleaning, and the application of some JB weld, the instal couldn’t be simpler. The photo-luminescent big dot gives you a fast simple sight picture, and the tritium gives a great green glow in the darkest of conditions. This is THE shotgun upgrade…..

Good quality
Good value but the nut is not included. The description should point out that nut is not included. This is a good option for vent ribs with enough space underneath for the nut. Makes orientation simple, no thread timing needed.

Best Shotgun iron night sight on the market hands down!
Wouldn’t recommend the orange dot for pistols but definitely for shotguns. The yellow dot is also nice on the shot gun. It’s hard to decide which one I like better. Though I must point out that I wasn’t really that satisfied with the orange dot when mounted on pistols.

Installation is not easy
I "repeated" this review from a previous poster because it is spot on. Except I didn't even get installation instructions. Ended up having to use gunsmith. I would recommend a competitor that when they say its meant for a Mossberg, it actually includes instructions and the right parts to actually install it, especially when it costs $60-70 for just a front sight

Problem #2 the screw/bead they sent for the "Mossberg 500" model I selected at purchase does not have the same thread pattern as the original bead. I know this because the XS site has an install PDF which gives a part number for me to order the appropriate bead from Brownells. Again this is a 60 to 70 dollar dot and yall cannot include an extra bead in case it was different? Very weak. Granted this is an XS sights problem and not an optics planet problem but I wish I had known this going in and I probably would have gone a different route.
