I've used XS "dot" sights for decades. At first, it was just for faster acquisition, a function at which it excels. Now, with my older eyes, it's also much easier to reference the "v" of the rear aperture than the difficulty of struggling with a "notch" or a "u" in the foreground. In addition, the tritium that XS uses lasts for many years.
