Replacement.
The sights on my Kimber Ultra CDP II lost their glow after twenty three years, so I chose these as a replacement.
For older eyes like mine that struggle to see smaller front dots this is an ideal front sight it is able too be picked up in day or night, and low light conditions!
So if you're thinking about a replacement just get it.

Almost like a RDS
The dot is so bright and big. I use it on a small micro compact that is to narrow to put an optic on. This is where it shines! Literally and figuratively. Presenting with and the clarity of this sight is almost like using a red dot sight; it is fast bright and always on. If you’re not able to mount a red dot then this is the next best option, from my experience, in my opinion.
