Swilly's Review of XS Sight Systems Lever Scout Mount

THis rail is so sweet for my Marlin 1895, allowing me to mount any optic for longer range shots, and it doesn't get in the way of my Ghost Ring iron sight set up neither. I bought a QD attachment for a Red dot that I can easily and quickly attach the Red Dot if I need to make a long shot. This set up looks fantastic too!
Pros:
  • Looks great
  • doesn't obstruct iron sights
  • allows mounting countless optic options
Cons:
  • need to remove dovetail rear sight
