XSs SIgh Sight for a Mossberg 930
The Shotrail and Ghost Ring installed easily
However,the Standard DOT tridium site does not fit a Mossberg 930 and your marketing material for this kit is misleading, it only fits bevel on the end of the barrel, the 930 has no bevel, so I wasted money on false and misleading claims and when I called your agent said there is noting that can be done and you did not have a kit for the Mossberg 930; your ma

Yes, you need to have it drilled and tapped.
Purchased years ago and put through occasional use. The front sight isn't really needed or useful unless using slugs. The ghost ring helps more, even with a simple bead front, at keeping your shot patterns lower since Mossbergs tend to shoot high naturally.

If you don’t have holes drilled and tapped on top of your receiver this will not work. Unless you are going to drill and tapped on top them yourself.

“Drops right in” is total bs
All applications require drilling and tapping at least one 8-40 hole, for Remingtons this requires drilling and tapping holes into a steel receiver, Mossbergs are aluminum but still have to drill and tap multiple holes straight and centered. Not at all drop in, that’s very misleading, even models with factory ghost ring sights require this.

All bad experience
$180 is already a hefty price for the product, but it wasn’t all bad since there was a free 2 day shipping coupon code. Later on I saw I was charged $240 instead of the $180 so I looked back and saw they DIDN’T apply my code for the free 2 day shipping after all. I was whatever about it since I’d get it fast anyways but no, I get it a whole WEEK later. And when I open the package, the bottle the product was contained in was BROKEN. I look up tutorial videos on how to install the rail and front sight since I couldn’t figure out why the last screw to the rear sight wouldn’t screw in and each tutorial video showed me I needed an extra long screw that I DIDNT get in the package??? L buying experience

XS SHOTRAIL for Mossberg 500
These sights did not disappoint. Easy installation, great sight picture and acquisition. Had some questions and XS customer service was impeccable. Highly recommended product for improved shotgun sights without the need for gunsmithing.

Good upgrade part
I purchased this as a replacement for the standard Mossberg ghost ring install. This option provides an improved field of vision and reduces the risk of the rear sight wings snagging or impacts on recoil.

Good for making your shotgun look awesome
I had a gunsmith install it and now it looks good. Only problem is the front sight included doesn’t fit remington 870 tactical models. Bead on the morsel is too big to fit so I had to buy a different one
