Not for everyone - XS Sight Systems DXT2 Big Dot Night Sight - Glock

Do you pick up that big dot front easily and quickly? Yes! It's a big freaking dot. But my issue with these sights is not the big dot. It's the rear sight that I can't get used to after learning to shoot with a front post and rear notch. There is no quick reference for vertical alingnment on target. I shoot with both eyes open and my focus is quickly on the front sight/target/front sight. With these I was experiencing too many inconsistent shots along the vertical plane. And I wasn't the only one. My brother is a freakish fine shooter. He can pick up any handgun with any sights and immediately shoot a flea's butt at 30 ft. He had the same problem with these. I know people shoot well with the Big Dot sights, but I had to go back to my Truglo Tritium Pros.
