I've now upgraded my Taurus 605 and Taurus 942 with this same sight. It is excellent and perfect for a defense sight where you desire fast acquisition. I wouldn't call it a precision sight, but you can quickly shoot 2-4" groups all day in the 5-10 yard range and still usable further. Also very easy to install.
It's worth noting my 605 is stainless, silver, and the 942 I chose black. This sight works slightly better with the black fixed rear sight. It's just the contrast works a little better. I instantly shot better with both guns after installation.
