The swage was very simple to use. You lubricate it & your mag tube, strike it with a rubber or plastic mallet so it goes past the detents & then pull it back out. I used a pair of vice-grips to help extract it. A few taps on the vice grips got it out.
Pros:
- Works well without having to drill or Dremel the detents out.
Cons:
- Cost.
- cost. Cry once and then use it
Best Used for:
- Detent removal.
