So at its basic form these are great. However there is a fundamental problem if running a scope. The side turrets for wind age left to eight blocks but of the view of the target. QC Issues - Look Elsewhere
Simple sight yet XS screwed up by mis-cutting the channel for picatinny rail screw. Then they compounded the issue by forcing a screw through the channel and stripping the threads. Will be returning sights to OP and crossing off XS as a supplier for my AR builds.
Best 45* backups ive ever used.
I always like to run 45* backups on a scoped AR. But using these are like night and day difference compared to the milspec style 45* backup irons. Very well made. only con was the flat head screws to attach but easily swapped if needed.
Pros:
- Bright, Durable well made.
Cons:
- flat tip heads on attachment bolts
Best Used for:
- Duty, home defense, hunting
Would recommend: Yes
Decent enough
If your used to Glock style sights or pistol sights in general, these are pretty nice. You need to position both towards the front end of the handguard for quick transition. Nothing bad to say about them. Quality materials used, and quality brand!
