Paul Black's Review of XTS Ambidextrous AR-15 Extended Magazine Release

I use the XTS on several lowers. To make these work awesome I purchased an extended length release button. I read the other comments, and I agree the crazy release button arrangement is useless. But for the price 19.99 and the extra-long button 6-10 dollars, around $25-$30, you have a high-quality mechanism. Hopefully the manufacture reads this and corrects it with that fix,
Pros:
  • Works well after adjustment
Cons:
  • Needs a longer release button for functionality
Best Used for:
  • AR-15, AR-10
