They're takedown pins alright!
Like I said, they're takedown pins. I dont use the front pin, but I do use the rear pin. It's tight, which I see as a good thing, but not too tight to make it rediculous to get out. I live in California, so I use these extended pins for a "fixed" magazine setup.
The only reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the pins are silver... Which is kinda weird, but not that big a deal
Great product
I love the color contrast and durability. Easy installation and tight fit. My only dislike is the very deep detents for the pins. They are much harder to move than the original pins where.

Great set , makes take down much easier, machined in close Torrance. The only con is that the end of the pins shuold have a slight bevel to make assy easier, otherwise I would have rated it with 5 stars.

Perfect pins
These are just what i was looking for. I did and A2 Varmint build with all SS accents, and barrel. Thede pins finished it off nicely. Ill have to say the ring really helps pukl the pin in a hurry. Great product, would recommend.

Hand over fist better
Pins are easy to install, very easy to use and works much easier than mil-spec pins

- End of pins can make it more difficult to actuate safety

SS take down pins
These new take down pins are awesome... fit great, of course they should... but great looking and function flawlessly. The stainless steel matches my barrel so looks really good. They are also dimpled I guess which adds to the looks.
