extended take down pins
yyes needed new pins so i ordered these ,two set for 2 ar 15, easym to install and work great just what i needed now my ar 15 is easier and faster to pull pins and clean and work on

These feel very well-made. They look great and they were easy to install. They make it so much easier and quicker for a takedown specially with my big fat fingers. Definitely well worth the great price.

The set was easy to install and works well. One thing to consider if you’re a LEFTIE is that it will block the safety selector switch to an extent. It is difficult to disengage the safety when wearing gloves.

Stainless Steel Extended Take-down and Pivot Pins
Seems to be well made. Nicely finished. No rough edges or mars in the surface. Fit smoothly on my lower build. Matches well with the SS mag catch assembly, as well as the anti-walk pins and nickel-boron bolt catch. My daughter selected the silver toned finish to accent her SS barrel. Looks like everything will produce an excellent finished product. This is my daughter's rifle and she requested the extended pins.
I am not sure that I would choose the extended pins for my rifles? They are handy and make for an easy take-down. However, the rear take down pin does interfere slightly with my usage of the ambi safety. Also, I prefer to have as few protrusions from my rifle as possible, because I have found them to catch on everything (branches, vines, clothing, web gear, etc). My daughter will be doing mostly benchrest and LR shooting, so this should not be an issue for her. This is obviously not the extended pin's fault, I'm just not sure of the design for my personal preference? The ONLY reason that I cannot give this 5 stars, is that after 2-1/2 months I am still waiting for an upper. It was estimated to be shipped 6 weeks ago, and I cannot complete my build and test fire the finished product until I receive the upper.
