Save your money and pick up some mbus or leapers. This sight was not properly aligned when deployed. I'm not sure if it's the roll pin used to attach the sight to the rail mount or if the hole the pin goes in was improperly drilled during the manufacturing process but when you deploy the sight it's visibly out of alignment. Maybe I got a defective one and it's not a common issue but I would just avoid these sights.

- taking up space in the trash can

Setting Sight(s) on Reality
These XTS flippers are sturdy, cleanly made and have that weighty feel to them. They are real world quality for the real world use that easily 90 percent or more will put them to. They are friction-operated, BUT they pop up and down with a confident "bump". Recoil from firing .223/5.56 will not make them fold. It would take many thousands of actuations to wear-out the mechanisms. We need to be honest; if you are law enforcement or security, then yes, spend more for sights like Magpul MBUS. But these little guys are great and will reliably serve the majority of us - especially if they are used true to the design - as backups.
Pros:
- Weighty feel of quality. NOT toy stuff.
Cons:
- Not sure about .308 (AR10) use.

- AR .223/5.56, 10/22 (.22 LR)
