Most Helpful Positive Review Very precise cuts and perfect finish
I have these handguard on an AR pistol as well as my S&W sport II. The fit and finish is excellent. YHM makes an awesome product. Installation was a breeze and attachments fit the M Lok precisely.
Most Helpful Negative Review Only handguard arrived
The description and Q&W states it includes the Rifle Length M-Lok® Handguard, Tools, Barrel Nut, Jamb Nut, Anti-Rotation Screws, and Installation Instructions. All I received was the handguard, screws and jamb nut. No instructions, tools or barrel nut.

If you guys like the old school free float handguards for bull barrel builds over super slim everything this is the way to go.

  • Does not cover the gas block on mid length barrels.

very decent handguard.

I own 3 different yhm handguards. All three have the exact same setup. Its a solid setup. No, not the lightest, but when youre moving shooting you wont care. The handguard is solid with two hard points. Side screws and a tension ring.
Best Used for:
  • all purpose shooting sporr

Hand guard is great.

The YHM handguard is machined well and a good fit and finish but it does NOT come with the tools that OP says it does. When I contacted them they told me to contact YHM and they said it does not come with tools. Tool is sold separately. Contacted OP again and waited. They offered me $4 off of the tool from them. As of this writing it is still listed as coming with the tool. OP has good inventory and prices listed on the website but beware of changing prices, backorders, slow shipping and late tracking updates. My experience is that they over promise and under deliver. BTW the tool is not necessary to install hand guard it just helps with the jam nut installation.

Perfect for suppressed/heat dissipator.

Steel barrel nut and locking ring combo is a plus in isolating the handguard from the barrel yet providing continuous picatiny optics support. Hardy, very precise fabrication. Easy assembly. Abundant M-Lok openings also keep any barrel cooler.
Pros:
  • easy assembly
  • Tight wobble free M-Lok slots
  • All steel hardware
  • Plenty of air circulation around the barrel
Cons:
  • 12.25 maximum length. I wish 15 in
