Most Helpful Positive Review Does what it says it does
I for some reason thought that this displayed 300 BLK when it was opened. It does not. When flipped open it's just plain black and when it's closed it shows 300 BLK. This pretty much contradicts every other custom dust cover design.

Unacceptable finish

This dust cover looks like it came out of someone's junk drawer. Not something you want to put on your new build.

one side only printed

The print is only on the outside of the cover. When dust cover is opened, you won't be able to see if it's a 300 blackout or 556 type AR. Wouldn't have purchased them if I knew this before. Had to order a functional set, and these go in the oh well draw.

Nifty door

It’s great and all, I just wished the lettering was on the inside so that it reads right side up with the door open. As it’s made currently, the lettering shows when the port is closed.

Out of spec

This is my second .300blk build. It doesn't keep the dust cover closed. It's almost like the spring tension in built into the dust cover isn't strong enough to hold it in place. I replaced it with a blank dust cover, and that works fine. So don't understand what went wrong with this product. Will try again with a different brand

solid mil spec

Yankee hill machine makes a solid dust cover with a variety of laser engraved options to choose from. I installed mine on a stripped upper so installation was easy as opposed to installation with the hand guard in place.

Good product. Milspec material .Nothing fancy after all it is a dust cover. However this was a great addition to my Aero Precision 300 blackout build. Great way to distinguish between your Uppers you have laying. Overall would recommend.

Works great. Nice large lettering. Very quick and easy install. It's the cheapest and most attractive way to label your 300 blackout uppers so you dont confuse them with 5.56. Would totally buy again.
