This scope riser is solid. It is a slide on style with thru bolts for clamping. It has a good range of positioning on an AR-15/10. YHM does a good job of anodizing their products. The rail does not interfere with iron sights. The rail is not QD, so QD rings/ mount could be used the get optic removed if needed for iron sights.
