angus's Review of Yankee Hill Machine Low Profile Gas Block With Pinch Screw Mounting YHM-9384
Unless one wants to pin or indent the bottom of a barrel, this is the way to go. I have this product on 2 guns.
A little instalation tip I learned. Get a piece of spaghetti and stick it in the gas hole on the barrel. Break it off so it doesn't stick out above the top of the gas hole. Slide the gas block over the barrel until it can't go any further. Tighten the screws on the gas block, but make sure it can turn back and forth. Flip the barrel over. Turn the gas block or barrel back and forth until the piece of spaghetti falls into the gas hole on the block. Leaving the barrel upside down, turn the gas block gently back and forth slowly until it stops both ways. Center it in the middle and tighten the screws. This Is important so the spaghetti will fall out and the gas block is centered over the hole. After tightening block turn barrel over and use a cleaning rod to break the spaghetti off. Both pieces will fall out. There ore several different sizes of spaghetti.
